is a bustling and thriving city full of interesting
people, stories and culture. Between the dry
weather, the constant sunshine and deep spa
tradition, it’s no wonder Arizona’s Urban Heart has become a
hub for breathtaking resort spas.

West region when comparing the number of spas to the general
population. Thirty-nine percent of the nation’s resort/hotel spas
are in the South West, which is over two times the region’s 19
percent population share.
Since the ISPA Conference & Expo will be descending upon
the Valley of the Sun in a mere three months, this month’s
Member Perspectives focuses on the strengths and challenges
ISPA resort spa members face in the Phoenix area. Running a
