Between the dry weather, the constant sunshine and deep spa tradition, it’s no wonder Arizona’s Urban Heart has become a hub for breathtaking resort spas. According the 2017 ISPA U.S. Spa Industry Study, resort/hotel spas are more heavily concentrated in the South P 24 PULSE ■ July 2018 West region when comparing the number of spas to the general population. Thirty-nine percent of the nation’s resort/hotel spas are in the South West, which is over two times the region’s 19 percent population share.
