P : What would your perfect day in Phoenix look like ? R : My perfect day starts with breakfast outside at Octotillo followed by a short hike on the Quartz Ridge Trail in Paradise Valley . The reward for the exercise is a day at the Joya Spa experiencing the Arnica and Hot Towel Massage — a perfect way to soothe sore muscles . A light lunch on the spa terrace overlooking Camelback Mountain is a must , with late afternoon drinks at the Jade Bar to watch a spectacular sunset . Dinner is a hard choice because the area has so many amazing eateries . Depending on my mood , I might hit Roka Akor for sushi , Malees on Main for Thai or if my boyfriend could join it would be T Cook ’ s , which is considered the area ’ s most romantic table . the labryinth at the Boulders resort & spa , one of many isPa member spas in the area .
P : We will be in Phoenix during the month of September , which will be hot ! What suggestions do you have for our guests to help them brave the heat ? R : Hopefully , come late September , Phoenix will be under 110 degrees , so not that hot for a native ! But if the mercury is rising , make sure to hydrate , hydrate , hydrate . I can ’ t stress enough the importance of always having a water bottle on you .
P : What are you most looking forward to about ISPA coming to Phoenix ? R : The chance for Phoenix to show the spa community what a terrific spa town we are ! Phoenix is such an amazing place to live , work and play and I always loving showing that off to visitors . n
