that the Tricoci family acquired The Mario Tricoci Hair
Salon and Day Spa business from their former partners and
investors.
3. MINDBODY acquired Booker Software in a deal worth $150
million. The agreement is expected to be completed by the
end of Q2.

expanded its facilities, opening a new custom-designed

1. Bellus Academy in Poway, California, pulled out all the
stops to give Vista Village Senior Living resident Sarah
Caccioppoli an afternoon of pampering. Sarah’s dream
come true spa day included her very first massage and
facial. From the plush robe to the care and attentiveness of
the spa team, the experience delighted Sarah and
surpassed her expectations.

2. Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, has intro-
duced its “Giving Module” so slot machine players can
donate their winnings. After guests cash out of their slot
machine, they can take their voucher to one of 10 Atlantis
ticket kiosks that feature the Giving Modules, located on the
casino floor. Gamblers then insert the voucher and a screen
allows them to choose which charity they would like to
donate to. The four nonprofits players can give to are: Big
Brothers, Big Sisters, Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Honor
Flight Nevada, and the American Cancer Society.
