One of the most incredible aspects of being
the ISPA Foundation Chairman is watching our
major fundraiser, the ISPA Foundation Live & Silent
Auctions, grow year-over-year. For those of you who don’t
know, the Auctions take place at the ISPA Conference &
Expo and are the main reasons we are able to fund such
incredible research and scholarship initiatives.
Last year, this community raised over $110,000 for the
foundation, which funds our important research with PwC.
My goal is for that number to get higher and higher every
year so that we can do even more to further the success and
future of our beloved spa industry.
To do that, we’ve got to get creative. It’s not enough to have just two days of Auction fun,
so we are getting the party started months earlier this year with special monthly auctions
leading up to the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo.
In February, we kicked it off by auctioning off an exclusive Conference package that included
one full conference registration to the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo as well as a four-night stay
