ISPA SILENT AUCTION
GETS A MAKEOVER
O
ver the years, the ISPA Silent Auction has seen
countless items sold and thousands of dollars
raised to benefit the ISPA Foundation. This year,
we’ll be using a new platform, Handbid, to streamline the
bidding process while also making it more convenient
than ever. With this new platform, you’ll be able to bid from
anywhere and track items you’re bidding on with real-time
updates. What’s more, you’ll be able to set max bid amounts
for a more convenient and automatic bidding experience
and as soon as the Silent Auction closes, you’ll know
what items you’ve won. All of this comes with the added
benefit of being more environmentally friendly by helping
us eliminate the use of paper bid sheets in the Silent
Auction area.

ISPA Talent Symposium Canceled
DUE TO THE GLOBAL COVID-19 OUTBREAK, ISPA has
made the decision to cancel this month’s ISPA Talent
Symposium and Resource Partner Summit in Santa
Barbara, California. As passionate supporters of the
hospitality and travel industries, this was an extremely
difficult decision to make—but the health and safety of
our members is our highest priority.
The 2020 ISPA Conference & Expo will still be held this
October 14-16 at Gaylord National Harbor; we look forward
to seeing many of our members there! ISPA is developing a
plan to deliver the Talent Symposium’s key messages and
resources at the annual Conference this fall.
