AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION , ISPA offers a variety of volunteer opportunities that provide numerous avenues for members to get more involved with ISPA and forge fresh connections . Though volunteer service most commonly contributes to ISPA ’ s growth and success from behind the scenes , one of the most recent public displays of ISPA volunteers ’ acumen is the award-winning ISPA Reopening Toolkit , which was viewed and shared by thousands of spa professionals seeking operational guidance through the most uncertain periods of the pandemic . ISPA members looking to volunteer can now contribute their skills and perspectives to ISPA ’ s initiatives in a valuable new way .

THE ISPA AMBASSADOR PROGRAM HELPS to promote the value of being part of the ISPA community to grow the membership base and share expertise through volunteer service throughout the year . This program is for active members with at least two years of ISPA membership experience who are able to volunteer a couple of hours each month to support the association ’ s initiatives through a variety of important tasks . These tasks include participating in discussions , sharing feedback through surveys , assisting with tasks onsite at the annual ISPA Conference ( i . e ., speaker introductions , greeting new attendees and exhibitors and assisting with first-time attendee orientation ), serving as a source for Pulse magazine and helping identify future research topics .
