The All Members directory includes all individual contacts affiliated with a member organization . The Spa Members directory features member spa organizations categorized by property name . The Resource Partner directory helps members find trusted brands supplying everything from products and uniforms to software and equipment , among many other categories . Consultants , distributors and educational institutions are also included . You can search for potential partners by product category or company name .

MATT SHAFER , DEPUTY PROGRAM DIRECTOR for The Council of State Governments , recently joined ISPA virtually to provide an update on the Interstate Massage and Cosmetology compacts . These compacts support the mobility of licensed massage therapists and cosmetologists by providing an additional licensing pathway , or reciprocity , among participating states .

In 2023 , Nevada enacted the Interstate Massage Compact ( IMpact ) and , with 2024 legislative sessions underway as of press time , bills are pending in seven states :

Kentucky , Nebraska , New York , Ohio , Virginia , Washington and Wisconsin .

Alabama , Arizona and Kentucky enacted the Cosmetology Licensure Compact in 2023 . Current legislative sessions considering bills are in California , Colorado , Georgia , Indiana , Maryland , Nebraska , New York , Ohio , Pennsylvania and Virginia .

For each of these compacts , seven states must enact the agreement before they can go into effect . ISPA members in these states are encouraged to write to elected officials explaining why the compacts should be supported .
