To ring in Global Running Day on June 6, Westin Hotels & Resorts teamed up with Charity Miles—the phone app that allows you to earn money for charity with every mile logged during a workout. Guests earned an extra (U.S.) dollar per mile for their preferred charity when they worked out at any Westin Hotel around the world while using the app. 4 4. Glen Ivy Hot Springs unveiled a new Secret Garden in June, which offers guests an opportunity to explore an exciting new oasis on the grounds. Guests can reserve a Secret Garden Cabana to enjoy a selection of seasonal fruits, citrus infused water, and hosted service from a dedicated cabana menu. Guests of the Secret Garden will also receive luxurious bath robes, reserved parking and access to sun loungers. oPeN for BusiNess 1. The Red Door Salon & Spa’s newest location opened in Pike 1 & Rose in Bethesda, Maryland. The Red Door is located in a 5,585-square-foot facility and offers seven multipurpose treatment rooms, including one couple’s suite, seven manicure and pedicure stations, nine hairdressing chairs and men’s and women’s locker rooms. 2. After 10 years of planning and construction, Davines Village 2 officially opened in May. The campus, which is home to Davines, [comfort zone] and /skin regimen/ brands, contains offices, training facilities, a research and development laboratory, a production plant, a warehouse, and a large central greenhouse used as restaurant and co-working area.
