1. The S.O.S. Spa Project, a complimentary service offering
guidance and support to spas, was recently launched by
industry veterans Maggy Dunphy, Diane Trieste and
Liz Verbruggen. The project will provide one-on-one
professional advice and a website that acts as “a repository
for helpful links and discussion on real time issues and
experiences faced by businesses in operation.” You can learn
more about the project at sos-spaproject.com.
2. The Wellspring Group, a spa consultancy founded by
industry veterans Laura Parsons and Robert Vance, has
created an online database of spa staff displaced by the
effects of COVID-19. Anyone who has been laid off in the
United States can add his or herself to the database, which
will be vital connection to hiring managers and owners.
