“ When we started Spa Wellness Night in 2023, about half our team attended,” says Daniel Spencer, director of spa.“ By the next event, we were up to 70 percent, and now we’ re over 90 percent. We keep things simple— low-cost, but meaningful. The goal is for everyone to come in, relax and just enjoy the facilities. Managers act as servers and help with cleanup— it’ s a full-team effort. We continue to grow and add more to the event; this year, we added activities and crafts.
“ We’ ve also made it interactive, almost like a mini trade show. We set up cabanas where team members can try and self-apply products, then take them home. Our resource partners and suppliers join in too, which helps connect the team and gives everyone hands-on experience with what we offer to guests.”
