IN EARLY JANUARY , the ISPA Board of Directors convened for its first-quarter meeting at Sea Island Resort in Georgia . The Board conducted regular business , including continued preparations for the 2025 Conference and ISPA ’ s landmark 35th-anniversary celebration .

Association business at a glance Each Board meeting includes a review of key governance matters . This quarter ’ s agenda also featured : l Financial oversight : The Board reviewed the association ’ s monthly financial statements and a quarterly investment report . ISPA ’ s financial advisor provided insights into U . S . market trends and economic factors affecting the industry . l Board timeline : ISPA is developing a rolling three-year timeline to evenly distribute major events , including the Conference schedule , board elections and nomination processes . To align with this new approach , the Board deferred officer elections until June 2025 .

Gearing up for the ISPA Conference In its report to the board , the ISPA Team reported positive momentum in registration , exhibits and sponsorship .

The board explored strategies for how attendees can engage leaders within their company , such as : l Inviting general managers to attend . l Providing thoughtful post-event follow-up .

ISPA Foundation : Data that drives the industry The 2025 ISPA U . S . Spa Industry Study survey is now open for participation by all spas in the U . S ., gathering critical data that informs the industry ’ s future . Conducted in

partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers , this vital research is funded entirely by ISPA Foundation donations and the annual Auction .

The 2025 ISPA Foundation Auction is currently seeking donations to support ongoing research . Bidding opens in early March .
