Life!
The life of a spa professional is a continuous cycle of daily responsibilities that help make the spa world go round. Pulse asks ISPA members to give us a sneak peek into their daily lives to help us understand the roles they play and the difference they make on a daily basis. gino trunzo Assistant vice President of Education n essie
There’ s more to the beauty industry than just enhancing or transforming the outward appearance. It can have a much deeper effect on one’ s soul. Gino Trunzo grew up going to the salon with his sisters and mother, where he experienced this first hand. Trunzo loves working within the spa industry because he sees health and beauty as the number one attribute to an individual’ s overall wellbeing.
As assistant vice president of education at essie, Trunzo finds the most rewarding experiences come from watching his team develop into better leaders. Keeping the team motivated, continuing their education, and then giving them the tools to pay it forward can be the biggest challenge Trunzo faces daily, but he says being able to watch his students become the teachers is an indescribable feeling. Here’ s a peek at what a typical day looks like for a top educational executive at one of the largest nail color brands in the world.
