5 . Boutique management company ISM Spa announced the promotion of Raye Vogler as vice president of operations . A seasoned spa operator with 23 years of experience working in luxury resorts , she has been with ISM for two years in the role of regional spa manager . In her new position , Vogler will manage re-openings in ISM ’ s current spa properties as well as new openings at several new properties across the US .“ I am so excited to work with ISM ’ s top management to execute our aggressive growth plans ,” said Vogler .“ I love creating memorable experiences for spa guests and mentoring newer managers . 7 . ISPA member Jean-Guy de Gabriac was one of 18 recipients of The International Massage Association ’ s Educational Ambassador award . The recipients are all dedicated educators , school owners or representatives of better education of massage therapists and massage teachers in their respective countries and areas of the world .
