STYLING & PHOTOGRAPHY BY ECHOSTARMAKER . COM
THIS PULSE ARRIVES IN ISPA MEMBERS ’ MAILBOXES right as the calendar flips to a new year — a moment when we all promise ourselves we will change for the better . Here ’ s a change to consider : Instead of easily-broken resolutions , let ’ s focus on shifting our mindsets in 2024 to embrace adaptability . Navigating life , business and the global landscape should be like one of the spa experiences our members create for their guests : constantly evolving , offering renewal and fostering well-being .
Suneel Gupta has several wise words about small adaptations we can make to ensure alignment and harmony in our lives . Get to know him a bit in his own words (“ A Conversation with Suneel Gupta ,” page 12 ) and then meet him in person at the ISPA Conference this April .
For ISPA , the last few years have been changeful , that is for sure …. As the Association turns 34 this year , your ISPA Team has tremendous longevity as well as some fresh new voices and perspectives . At our year-end holiday party , we celebrated Crystal Ducker for her 15-year anniversary , and Samantha Smith is celebrating 14 years ! Collectively , your ISPA HQ Team has nearly 100 combined years of ISPA service .
We like to measure length of tenure by how many annual ISPA Conferences each of our colleagues has staffed . We are elated to welcome five new team members who will brave their first Conference this spring , and several others are now veterans of one or two of our international spa industry gatherings . As ISPA evolves and adapts — change is good , right ?— we are slowly climbing back to a full Team to ensure 2024 is our most productive year ever for spa community education , research , outreach , member services and industry advocacy .
We are over-the-moon grateful for all our ISPA friends ! Happy
