of 30 years of ISPA, from 1991 to 2020.
REFINING THE EXPERIENCE
2003 – 2005
THE MIDDLE OF THE 2020’S SAW
ISPA refining its two biggest events:
the ISPA Conference & Expo and the
East Coast Media Event. The Media
Event grew out of the “Media
Luncheons” of the 1990s to become
the premier way for spas to share the
story of the industry with members
of the press.
It was in 2004 that the theme of
the ISPA Conference & Expo took on
its now-standard one-word format.
Previously, themes included
“Building Bridges: Wellness for
the New Millennium” and “Impact
2000 – Defining the Future.”
Meanwhile, 2004’s theme?
“Balance.” Brevity is the soul
of wit, as Shakespeare wrote.
