LIKE SO MANY OF YOU, i am grateful to have had the privilege
to serve iSPa for many years and watch the industry evolve.
although many things have changed over time, one thing has
(thankfully) stayed the same—the passionate people of iSPa
that create and strengthen our community!
one way we have championed iSPa’s familial
nature is through People of iSPa, which
received a makeover in this month’s issue!
The inspiration for People of iSPa was
brought to us when iSPa Past chairman
michael Tompkins shared the amazing
humans of new york project by Brandon
Stanton. These portraits and interviews
collected on the streets of new york
city depict the many trials and
triumphs that we all experience.

survey responses and brought the
many unique faces and stories of our
industry to the foreground. We are so fortunate to have
members who are not just passionate people of the world, but
passionate People of iSPa. With over 30,000 open positions in
the spa industry, we have so much room for growth. attracting
people to the spa community and sharing these personal and
relatable stories is a great way to foster that growth!
We are proud to have more than 145 members of our iSPa
family highlighted on People of iSPa. if you haven’t completed
a survey, please do so today so that we can share your story
and broaden our family—one person at a time.
What is your unique story?
