LIKE SO MANY OF YOU, i am grateful to have had the privilege to serve iSPa for many years and watch the industry evolve. although many things have changed over time, one thing has (thankfully) stayed the same—the passionate people of iSPa that create and strengthen our community! one way we have championed iSPa’s familial nature is through People of iSPa, which received a makeover in this month’s issue! The inspiration for People of iSPa was brought to us when iSPa Past chairman michael Tompkins shared the amazing humans of new york project by Brandon Stanton. These portraits and interviews collected on the streets of new york city depict the many trials and triumphs that we all experience. We wanted to apply the same creative approach to our diverse membership, and soon People of iSPa was born. for the past eight months, iSPa team member nelson Lane has created features from your We are so fortunate to have members who are not just passionate people of the world, but passionate People of ISPA. survey responses and brought the many unique faces and stories of our industry to the foreground.
