1 . Hilton Hotels & Resorts has expanded its luxury Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand with the opening of the Conrad Orlando in January . Part of the billiondollar Evermore Orlando Resort , the property features a 10,000-square-foot spa , a 12,000-square-foot immersive water garden , wellness-forward guest rooms and rejuvenating treatments inspired by the natural springs of Central Florida . The outdoor space includes a vitality pool , a cold plunge pool , a warm whirlpool and private soaking tubs .
2 . Forbes Travel Guide released its list of Most Anticipated Hotel Openings in 2024 . Among them is the Regent Santa Monica Beach , which is Regent Hotels & Resorts ’ American premiere . The property will include a beachfront pool , destination wellness center , a restaurant helmed by a celebrity chef , as well as a high-end artisanal marketplace .
3 . The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair is set to open this spring in London . According to its website , the boutique spa “ provides the perfect antidote to the fast pace of London life , offering an urban utopia in the heart of Mayfair .” The facility includes an indoor 25-meter swimming pool , sauna , vitality pools , experience showers and steam rooms . Two exclusive experiences , inspired by the Mayfair surroundings , will be the four-handed Tranquility of Mayfair massage and a signature Elegance of Mayfair facial .

1 . The Hardy Family ( including Maggie Hardy , CEO of Nemacolin ) has made a transformative gift of $ 7 million to West Virgina University . The money will fund student scholarships and residency internship stipends for students in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program through the Hardy Family Hospitality and Tourism Program Endowment .“ This isn ’ t just an investment for the future of these students ,” says Nemacolin ’ s Hardy .“ It ’ s a promise of a brighter future , infinite opportunities and the building blocks of a dream that ’ s now more of a reality .”

2 . Acqualina Resort & Residences hosted the 28th Annual “ I Have a Dream ” Foundation Miami Gala last November . The foundation ’ s mission is to empower children from low-income areas to reach their educational and career goals through mentoring , tutoring and tuition assistance for Florida state universities and accredited trade schools . At this event , around 650 South Florida philanthropists joined 40 Dreamers for an evening of philanthropy and giving .
3 . With sustainability and environmental impact top of mind , emerginC Skincare launched a “ buy one , plant one ” tree planting campaign , resulting in 1.2 million trees planted ( and counting ). They have also distributed 50,000 metal straws and bamboo toothbrushes to reduce plastic consumption . Now they are expanding efforts to help prevent open dumping , burning and plastic leakage into rivers and oceans by using CleanHub waste management solutions .
