Meet
Paul Wright
regIonAl vP of SAleS • reAdY cAre • orlAndo, florIdA
it’s not every day that you meet the most moisturized
man in the World.
Donned as such by the Florida Spa Association, Paul Wright has
earned the right to be the Dos Equis man of spa after an impressive
35 years in the industry. From massage therapist to regional vP of
sales, Paul takes the Robert Frost quote to heart that “the best way
out is always through.”
“I began my journey at a young age as a massage therapist in 1983
working out of Palace Bath House in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is a
historical-renovated bath house built in 1901 offering mineral hot
baths, eucalyptus steam bath, clay masks and therapeutic massages
for rejuvenation and relaxation. The new owners then trusted me as
manager to bring the spa to a new level. I had a vision to expand more
mineral baths, steam sessions and massages by opening up a second
side of the Bath House and utilizing the space on busy weekends. We
grew 42 percent in just the first year.”
Paul is fun and energetic, and he loves creating an engaging
atmosphere that involves vendors, spa
management, leaders and consultants. He
encourages his team with simple, yet
brilliant advice and his success speaks for
itself.
“I use my motto in everyday life but have
applied it in my career both in management
and in my current role. Never Give Up. We all
endure challenges in one way or another. In
2003, I was laid off from a company I had
been with for eight years. It was devastating
but I rebounded and kept my chin up. In
2006, I struggled to make sales in my first
three months at Ready Care but, again, I
kept thinking forward and positive and 13
years later, I have prospered from growing
my region. Never Give Up.” n
