WHETHER YOU JOINED US in Colorado Springs to celebrate ISPA’ s 35th Anniversary year or were with us in spirit from afar, we are grateful for your support and commitment to elevate our industry and association. Being together to share countless hugs— also known as the ISPA handshake— is one annual rite that makes this community so special.
A dear friend recently reminded me that“ the orchestra only works if we all know our music,” and that sentiment really resonated. From the ISPA Board and Committees to our inspiring Conference speakers and the always unshakable ISPA HQ Team I have the honor to work with every day— everyone knows their music and, together, the orchestra plays in harmony. We are beyond blessed.
THE STRENGTH OF FAMILY The last several months have been a journey for us all for so many reasons. We often say the ISPA community is like family, and that has never felt more true than in the outpouring of love and support following the unexpected loss of my sweet Mother. Nothing will ever be the same. My family is navigating the different days ahead with as much grace and gratitude as we can muster. My remarkable husband, my amazingly strong sisters and my loving nephews rally around Dad to ensure he has the love and care needed to navigate a broken heart, reminding us what family means. And within ISPA and Associations International, I feel that same embrace of family and remain grateful for the large one we have here.
Though our orchestra now has a tremendously large vacant seat, our music plays on. Thank you for being part of this incredible family. n
