Diana Kander challenges spa leaders to rethink success
“ Never goal alone.”
“ IN MANY WAYS, I feel like I am the target demographic for this industry,” Diana Kander told attendees of the 2026 ISPA Conference’ s Day One Power Session, opening her keynote with humor and immediacy.“ I am a woman in my 40s with disposable income— and I salute you for the work you do.” Kander quickly moved from lighthearted rapport to a deeply personal story, reflecting on her childhood in Odessa, Ukraine, and her family’ s immigration to the United States.
She described her parents as her first examples of innovation— people who believed that“ better” was always possible. That mindset, she explained, became the foundation of her message to spa leaders: Growth requires a willingness to question what’ s working.
