Global Wellness Day marks 15th anniversary with # JoyMagenta
Global Wellness Day will celebrate its 15th anniversary on June 13, 2026, introducing its new theme, # JoyMagenta. The global not-forprofit movement invites millions worldwide to participate in free wellness activities focused on cultivating joy through gratitude, connection, movement and creativity. Founded in 2012 by Belgin Aksoy, Global Wellness Day is celebrated annually on the second Saturday of June in tens of thousands of locations around the world.
Insider’ s Guide to Spas debuts Hush:
The Spa Culture Companion Insider’ s Guide to Spas announced the launch of Hush: The Spa Culture Companion, a limitededition quarterly broadsheet devoted to the traditions and cultural lineage of the global spa profession. The inaugural issue debuted February 1 at Premiere Spa and Wellness Talks during Premiere Beauty Anaheim. Founded by Mary Bemis, the tactile publication is designed for thoughtful, slow reading and features original essays, profiles and reflections that honor the enduring rituals and practices of spa culture.
You’ re invited to the next ISPA Connect
ISPA is strengthening local connections in a meaningful way with ISPA Connect, a series of member networking receptions held in conjunction with quarterly ISPA Board meetings.
Designed as relaxed evenings of connection and community, ISPA Connect brings together spa professionals from across the region to share ideas and reconnect with familiar faces, while welcoming new members into the ISPA family. These gatherings highlight the strength and camaraderie of the spa industry while creating valuable opportunities for one-on-one interaction between members and ISPA Board leaders. Just as importantly, they help cultivate stronger local spa networks that extend well beyond the event itself.
