ISPA NEWS BY NELSON LANE

New Consumer Research Coming Soon

WITH CONSUMER TRENDS EVOLVING constantly since the start of the pandemic , spa professionals have numerous questions regarding the mental approach of clients and customers toward the industry that is uniquely equipped to meet rising physical and mental health needs . To answer these questions , the ISPA Foundation has once again partnered with leading research organization PricewaterhouseCoopers ( PwC ) to examine how the perspectives and habits of spa-goers and non-spa-goers have shifted during the pandemic . This research will allow professionals to better understand what kinds of consumers are driving high demand for spa services and what may be driving visits from first-time spa-goers . Additionally , the study will reveal the role at-home care may now play in the lives of both spa-goers and non-spa-goers . Initial findings will be shared at the 2022 ISPA Conference by ISPA research leads Russell Donaldson and Colin McIlheney from PwC .
