JUST ABOUT THE TIME THAT THIS ISSUE OF
PULSE is making its way into the hands ( or onto the screens ) of our members , the 2022 ISPA Conference will kick off in Las Vegas , where there is simply so much to celebrate . Not only is the ISPA community coming together in person for the first time in more than two years , but we ’ ll also finally be able to resume some of our most exciting and beloved Conference traditions throughout the event .
One such tradition is the presentation of the ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award , the ISPA Visionary Award and the Alex Szekely Humanitarian Award , which will be given to Ella Kent , Kerstin Florian and Power Session speaker Leon Logothetis , respectively . In addition , we will present the ISPA Distinguished Service Award to Colin McIlheney , global research leader with PricewaterhouseCoopers . Colin has played a critical role in ISPA ’ s industry and consumer research efforts , which have provided vital insights to ISPA members for more than 20 years now . The ISPA Foundation is incredibly grateful for Colin ’ s countless contributions , and we ’ re thrilled to find him back in a familiar role at this year ’ s event , sharing results from ISPA ’ s most recent U . S . Spa Industry Study and a new wave of consumer research data . Cheers , Colin !
Mr . McIlheney won ’ t be the only person leaving Conference with a treasured new possession ( or experience ) in tow , of course .
