SUCCESS STORIES EMERGING EXHIBITORS BY NELSON LANE “We were so excited this year to feature these smaller niche brands who had never exhibited at ISPA before.” THE ISPA EXPO FLOOR is undeniably vast, as it boasts exhibitors from every corner of the health and wellness industry. Walking in, attendees are immediately struck with the vibrance and creativity—not to mention the scope—of the spa industry. While hundreds of exhibitors see a positive return on their investment every year, however, the upfront costs of fully outfitting a booth can be daunting for smaller brands who are new to the Expo. For this reason, the 2018 ISPA Conference & Expo featured 48 PULSE ■ November 2018 its first-ever Emerging Exhibitor Showcase. Located in a shared area of the Expo floor, the Emerging Exhibitor Showcase offered first-time exhibitors a way to “try out” the ISPA Conference & Expo at a budget-friendly price point. Each exhibitor could bring a tabletop product display, as well as tabletop signage, to showcase their brand. “For years, we wanted to give spas a way to connect with new and innovative products,” reflects ISPA President Lynne McNees. “We were so excited this year to feature these smaller niche brands who had never exhibited at ISPA before.”
