Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel Mokara Spa opens in late 2025 as Fort Lauderdale’ s newest luxury wellness retreat. The spa will feature amenities such as a hammam, steam room, sauna, massages, facials, body treatments and salon services. Guests can also enjoy an open-air courtyard with a heated plunge pool and relaxation area. Inspired by Florida’ s natural springs and coastal setting, the spa emphasizes a tranquil environment for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Mandarin Oriental has marked its debut in Austria with the opening of Mandarin Oriental, Vienna. Set in a meticulously restored 1908 Art Nouveau courthouse in the city’ s First District, the 138-room property blends historic character with contemporary luxury. Of particular interest to spa leaders, the new Spa at Mandarin Oriental features seven treatment rooms( including a couple’ s suite), a VIP area, indoor pool, and full fitness center, offering both signature therapies and treatments inspired by Viennese tradition. The hotel also introduces multiple dining concepts under Executive Chef Thomas Seifried and a range of flexible event spaces.
PARTNERSHIPS
Aescape has added creator-athlete Logan Paul as an investor and partner. The announcement follows the company’ s $ 83 million funding round earlier this year, bringing total investment to $ 128 million. Aescape has expanded its massage pods from a few New York clubs to more than 60 nationwide and is piloting units with additional hotel partners. For spa leaders, this signals growing mainstream traction for automated recovery solutions that merge performance, well-being and technology— potentially reshaping how massage and recovery are offered in both hospitality and health club settings. n
