A MESSAGE FROM YOUR ISPA CHAIR

2026- 2027 ISPA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

AS WE LOOK AHEAD TO THE 2027 ISPA CONFERENCE and our theme, Rise, I’ ve been thinking about what growth really means.

Growth doesn’ t happen by accident. It happens by design— and often through small choices.

At the end of every ISPA Town Hall, I congratulate those who joined us for making a commitment to their own growth. Giving 60 minutes to learn something new may not seem significant, but that knowledge can make you better and, in turn, positively impact the people you lead and influence.

I’ m continually surprised by how much we can gain when we stay curious and are willing to try.

That matters as our industry continues to evolve. AI, longevity, transformational experiences, changing guest expectations and the challenge of developing great people are creating tremendous opportunities. We can react to those changes, or we can intentionally grow with them.

My work in longevity has reinforced something I’ ve believed for a long time: Meaningful change rarely comes from one big decision. It comes from small actions, repeated over time. Leadership and personal growth work much the same way.

So, my challenge to you is simple: What is one thing you can do this month that moves you forward? Learn something. Try something. Have the conversation. Make the change.

Then keep going. n
