Ready to rise
JAMIE KERN LIMA’ S BOOKSHELF
JKL: We have to learn to believe that taking care of ourselves and filling up our own tanks first actually results in us being a better boss, leader and parent!
Pulse: How does self-worth change business decisions? JKL: We often tolerate a poor performer in our business, avoid taking a risk— or worse, avoid trusting our own intuition— all because deep down we don’ t believe we’ re worthy of trusting ourselves, setting a standard for what we deserve or taking a risk that our gut tells us is right. The more we learn to believe we’ re worthy of trusting ourselves, the more confident we are in all areas of business.
