7 . French skincare brand Biologique Recherche has opened the doors to its flagship US destination , Ambassade Los Angeles . The 5,000sqm facility provides proprietary skin diagnostic services and personalized spa treatments for the face , body and scalp , as well as its full range of retail products . Led by spa director Vivian Henein , the Ambassade is located on Melrose Place in a two-story building .
8 . Hyperice launched the new Core Meditation Trainer , a handheld device that can help spa-goers find calm and improve their focus and inner strength . Sarah McDevitt , director of mind technology , explained that spas are incorporating Core to complement existing services with mindfulness practices and relaxation techniques for the mind . Controlled through an app , Core pulses alongside meditation sessions and uses biometrics to encourage breath control and focus , while ECG biosensors measure the user ’ s heart and nervous system .

The Spa at Hotel Washington , located in Washington DC , was recently awarded a 2022 Traveler ’ s Choice Award by Trip Advisor , honoring the best activities worldwide according to the travelers who enjoyed them . Proud of their accomplishment , the team closed the spa early and went to Swingers Mini Golf club to celebrate .

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando , Grande Lakes Area General Manager , Jon McGavin , and their entire team achieved the elite status of being named a Five Diamond designated property by the AAA Diamond Program . With this distinction , the recently renovated Ritz- Carlton Orlando , Grande Lakes , become one of just three hotels in North America added to the list in 2022 and one of only two in the Central Florida area ever included .
3 . This year marked 32 years of business for the International Day Spa and 10 years of ownership for the spa ’ s owner , Corri Vara . Having worked at the spa since 2006 , Corri purchased the spa from the original owner in 2012 . She has upgraded the spa , but the core values remain the same .“ With an excellent staff , she can provide exceptional skin and body care experiences .”
