1 . BABOR BEAUTY GROUP ’ s new ultra-modern and highly sustainable production site has been awarded with the Responsible Care Prize granted by the Verband der Chemischen Industrie e . V . ( VCI NRW ) ( North Rhine-Westphalia ’ s Chemical Industry Association ). With this third-place ranking , VCI recognizes BABOR ’ s efforts to build an allelectric manufacturing site that aims to produce its own energy and to function without any fossil fuels . The goal is for the building to be completely energy self-sufficient by 2030 .

2 . Mia Kyricos , president and CEO of Kyricos & Associates LLC , a strategic advisory firm dedicated to the business of wellness and wellbeing , received the 2023 Cornell Hospitality Innovator of the Industry Award .“ Mia is a pioneer in the wellness and spa industries whose trailblazing work is now defining new health and well-being standards across the hospitality industry and beyond ,” said Kate Walsh , the E . M . Statler Professor and dean of the Nolan Hotel School .

3 . The Waldorf Astoria Spa in Chicago , Illinois , was named one of the Best Spas in Chicago 2023 by Chicago Favorites . The 12,000-square-foot Greek-inspired spa was recognized as the Best State of the Art Spa because of its indulgent list of treatment options .
