1 . Hilton Hotels & Resorts will be launching a new resort and luxury spa by the end of the year . As part of Hilton ’ s luxury brand , the new Conrad Orlando , located in Orlando , Florida , will feature a two-story , 10,000-square-foot spa inspired by Florida ’ s natural freshwater springs . Spa and wellness consultancy Under A Tree was appointed to conceive the property ’ s wellness concept , which emphasizes the healing power of water .
2 . Marriott International has branched into the luxury safari segment with a wellness-forward retreat property within Southwestern Kenya ’ s Masai Mara National Reserve . The JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge features 20 tented suites , a spa and wellness center and a selection of culinary offerings . Capturing the essence of rejuvenation , the lodge is home to a Spa by JW that emulates the serenity of the reserve and offers tailored experiences blending locally inspired techniques and therapies .
3 . Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is taking its signature spa treatments to the next level with the launch of a new Wellness Music Program . Drawing on global musicians , musical specialists and themes from historical , philosophical texts , the playlists will be inspired by the Chinese Five Phases Music Therapy . Jeremy McCarthy , MOHG group director of spa and wellness , explained ,“ We know music has not only the power to soothe , but also to uplift .”
4 . Canyon Ranch has formed a new partnership with Loeb Leadership for organizational and senior leadership retreats at any of Canyon Ranch ’ s three locations . The retreats will feature a range of spa and wellness activities among the properties . Naomi Rose , director of partnership accounts , said ,“ This partnership reinforces our commitment to providing guests with unique and transformative experiences that promote physical , emotional and mental well-being .”
5 . Sensei Lana ’ i , A Four Seasons Resort and Sensei Porcupine Creek recently introduced a new Rest and Recovery Program . In this structured five-night well-being program , guests will learn techniques and develop practices to better manage stress , improve sleep , prepare their body for optimal culinary nourishment and establish healthy habits with support from an integrated team of Sensei Guides and wellness practitioners .
