Go-to-resources to help prevent burnout in the workplace “ I saw recently where Oprah has these [“ The Life You Want ”] cards for living an authentic life ,” shared Taylor Fields .“ In the morning , one team member picks a card and reads it , and they have a brief conversation , and that sets the tone for the team that day .”
“ I have about a 30- to 35-minute commute in the morning ,” said Shane Bird .“ During that time , I don ’ t turn the radio on and I meditate , get my mind set for the day and review the day ahead .”
Margaret Lora recommended Ken Blanchard ’ s The Heart of a Leader . “ It helped me start leading with my heart and serving others , which in
turn makes for better morale , stronger outcomes and then the revenue and retention just follow through .”
