POST-COVID-19 ATTITUDES
Spa Nervousness Isn’t Unique
Consumers are no more nervous—or even less nervous—to visit
the spa or salon than any other public place. 72% said that they’re
a little nervous to very nervous about visiting spas, a comparable
percentage those who said the same about going to a mall (74%)
or eating at a restaurant (74%). Consumers have relatively little
nervousness about getting their hair cut, with only 17% indicating
high nervousness. Reopening your spa’s salon and beginning
with hair services may be the cornerstone of your first-wave
reopening strategy.
