AMID HIGH DEMAND FOR SPA SERVICES and positive recent data regarding spas ’ economic recovery , it ’ s safe to say that our industry is booming . If that evidence isn ’ t enough , consider this : 45 percent of 2022 ISPA Conference exhibitors were first-timers ! Following their Conference debuts in Las Vegas , Pulse checked in with some of those exhibitors to learn about their experiences , their favorite moments and their advice for future first-timers and other exhibitors .
GREGORY MACDONALD
FOUNDER & CEO OF BATHORIUM How would you describe your overall experience as a first-time ISPA Conference exhibitor ? We were so impressed by the caliber of attendees ! We met such amazing buyers , directors , spa owners and spa media that we ’ ve never had the opportunity before to present our brand in front of . The organization of the event was one of the best we ’ ve been to in a long time . Clear communication , fun after-parties and great networking opportunities . We will for sure be back !
What was your biggest takeaway or was most surprising insight from the Conference ? Next year we need to have a larger booth so we can better serve the influx of directors looking to talk with us and see the product in action . We also learned so much about what spa professionals are looking for in spa retail and back bar service . Another key takeaway is seeing the focus on retail ready items buyers are looking for .
What would you share with other brands / companies who might consider exhibiting at a future ISPA Conference ? I would share that it was definitely worth the investment for us , hands down . Take advantage of the speaker series and after show events that ISPA puts on . There are amazing networking opportunities . We even ended up writing an order when we were in line to get a beverage one evening !
