CATALINA MASLOV , SALES DIRECTOR OF BOTANIKA LIFE How would you describe your overall experience as a firsttime ISPA Conference exhibitor ? Our experience as a first-time exhibitor was a very positive one . It exposed us to new spas that we had not previously had the opportunity to present to . We also had great support from everyone in the ISPA team and show organizers , who answered all our questions along the way .
What was your biggest takeaway or was most surprising insight from the Conference ? Our biggest takeaway is how receptive buyers and spa directors are to new brands such as ours . During our conversations , we were very happy to hear many spa directors were looking for something new to offer their guests , such as CBD massages and treatments .
What would you share with other brands / companies who might consider exhibiting at a future ISPA Conference ? I would share that it was an amazing experience ! Not only did we get to meet people from the industry and from all over the world , we had the opportunity to see what other companies in the industry are doing . It ’ s invaluable to share feedback and advice as to what is going on in our industry .
TAYLOR BARRY , CO-FOUNDER OF BRAND UNCOVER How would you describe your overall experience as a first-time ISPA Conference exhibitor ? Coming off the ISPA conference , I was left feeling so energized and recharged as I looked to the future of this industry . As a former retail executive , I have attended many retail-centric trade shows in my career , but this was my first true spa event … and my first time ever being an exhibitor . ISPA is so
unique in the sense that the core of what they do shines through authentically in the way they structure this event .
We partnered with four incredible brands at this year ’ s ISPA Expo - Clove + Hallow , Sanara , Hush & Hush , and Tiffany Andersen Brands . Our booth had a powerhouse group of seven female founders and executives all working together to build a meaningful experience for each attendee who visited our space . In addition to the valuable content that was shared and the special connections that were made , it was this group that left me feeling proud and honored to be now working in this area of the industry .
What was your biggest takeaway or was most surprising insight from the Conference ? In addition to working with a number of these brands and spa directors virtually over the last two years , my business partner Gina Jacoby has spoken so highly of the individuals that attend this conference . My largest takeaway was the strong sense of community that I felt amongst the attendees . As a newcomer , I feel extremely fortunate to have been welcomed with open arms by this incredible group of people .
What would you share with other brands / companies who might consider exhibiting at a future ISPA Conference ? I would strongly advise them to attend the next ISPA Conference . In addition to securing their booth space , I would encourage them to make the most of their time at the event . Attend all of the power sessions , take the time to connect with all directors who pass by your space and find time to network with other brands while you ’ re there . I love seeing the brands we worked with at our booth now forming a sense of community with each other that can be seen visibly on social media .
