DURING THE 2023 ISPA CONFERENCE , Frank Pitsikalis stepped down from his longtime role as ISPA Foundation chair . Under Frank ’ s stewardship , the Foundation developed a solid underpinning of fundraising and research to support ongoing development and education in the spa industry . Thank you , Frank , for your leadership .
The ISPA Board of Directors installed former ISPA Chair Todd Shaw as the Foundation ’ s new head . Todd shares his excitement about this new calling :

ISPA Foundation Auctions
$ 143,270 : Combined proceeds of the 2023 ISPA Foundation Live and Silent Auctions . Donors and bidders were excited to have the auctions return to the Expo floor at the 2023 ISPA Conference , and we set records for donated items and final bids . The auctions are the Foundation ’ s largest fundraiser for investments in education and spa industry research .
