2 . Hempfield Botanicals has been making an impact by giving employees paid time off to volunteer and share their talents to further causes in their community . Together with their sister brand Makes Scents Natural Spa Line , Hempfield Botanicals has made volunteering a priority throughout the years at food banks , animal shelters and medical centers .

In March , PEOPLE Magazine reporter Dana Rose Falcone visited Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in Farmington , Pennsylvania , to learn more about the location ’ s experience hosting The Bachelor and navigating production while under COVID-19 restrictions .“ On the show , they didn ’ t even really use half the offerings that we have ,” Nemacolin owner Maggie Hardy Knox told PEOPLE . “ There could have been a whole year show and we would have something for them to do .” Despite Nemacolin being closed to the public while shooting for the show , Hardy Knox kept her approximately 1,000 associates on even though many didn ’ t need to work during production . She estimates 400 crew members stayed on site while filming , as well as “ upwards of 40 women .” The women not seen on the show stayed on-site , ready to step in if another contestant tested positive for COVID-19 .

1 . Makes Scents Natural Spa Line has appointed Edmond A . Verbeke as its new Vice President of Sales . Verbeke has worked in sales management for over 30 years and has extensive experience in selling beauty and spa products to luxury spas , day spas , salons , resorts and clubs . In his role at Makes Scents Natural Spa Line ( and sister-brand Hempfield Botanicals ), Verbeke will focus on developing new and nurturing existing spa and wholesale client relationships via providing unparalleled customer service and personalized attention . He will also be responsible for creating a new division within the company , Makes Scents Hospitality .
