ISPA Conference Awards recognize industry ’ s brightest lights

VISIONARY AWARD • Michael Tompkins The ISPA Visionary Award is presented each year to a true spa industry visionary who has made significant contributions to both the definition and positive movement of health and wellness over the lifetime of their career .

DEDICATED CONTRIBUTOR AWARD • Tammy Pahel The ISPA Dedicated Contributor Award is presented each year to an active ISPA member who has contributed significantly to the growth of the Association . The recipient demonstrates leadership and commitment to ISPA and extensively assists in the promotion of the spa industry ’ s leading membership organization , as well as its mission and vision .

HUMANITARIAN AWARD • Justin Wren The ISPA Alex Szekely Humanitarian Award is named in honor of the late spa pioneer Alex Szekely . It is designed to recognize an individual who acts as a respected contributor to overall well-being , encouraging the renewal of mind , body and spirit — all of which are characteristics embodied by ISPA members worldwide .

As an ISPA Conference sponsor , Babor hosted a competition related to the hotel key cards in use at the event . Babor announced KELLY LANZA , spa director at SeaHill Spa at The Historic Cavalier Hotel , was the winner .
