SNAPSHOT SURVEY
the november Snapshot Survey took a look at recent treatment trends as reported by iSPa members. Downsized,
curated menus were named by several respondents as a trend; over half (56 percent) of day spas have between 10 and 30
treatments on their menu.
The types of treatments offered varied somewhat between day spa and resort spa respondents. for example, day spas
were more likely to offer services for cancer patients (37 percent vs. 21 percent) and bridal parties (84 percent vs. 61
percent) than resort spas. resort spas, however, were more likely to offer treatments specifically for men, with 84 percent
of resort respondents offering male-centric services.
