1. Technogym announced the return of its social
campaign Let’s Move for a Better World, designed to
educate the next generation on the benefits of a
healthy, active lifestyle. From March 16 to April 4,
people around the world can join forces to promote
wellness in their community. By using Technogym
connected equipment, participants will measure their
training efforts. Upon reaching predefined goals, each
club participating can win a Technogym product to
donate to a local school, helping promote fitness and
wellness to that community’s youth.
2. Sammy Gharieni, founder and CEO of Gharieni USA,
is to receive the “A Life of Beauty” award presented as
part of BEAUTY DUSSELDORF 2020, taking place
March 6-8 in Germany. This award is presented to indi-
viduals with special merits in professional cosmetics
who are considered driving forces in the industry.

3. On February 8, Red Mountain Resort hosted a
Wellness Weekend titled The Art of Self Discovery.
This event featured movement, meditation and art
facilitated by artist and spiritual companion Mary
Hogan. Lunch and a 25 percent spa discount were
included in this package.

4. WTS International and COMTO National, the leading
national advocate for employment diversity, signed a
Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their
partnership. “This is very exciting for us as it signifies
a consensus in our industry that there is work to be
done in achieving equity and that the way to achieve
it is together,” Maggie Walsh, WTS International Board
Chair, shared during the signing.
5. Hyatt Hotels Corporation has partnered with
meditation company Headspace to bring mindfulness
exercises, guided meditations and sleep content to
millions of employees, corporate customers and
guests. The alliance with Headspace builds on Hyatt’s
holistic wellness strategy, which focuses on positively
impacting how employees, customers and guests
feel, fuel and function—Hyatt’s three landmarks of
wellness. n
