ISPA NEWS & 2021 CALENDAR

ISPA ’ S MOST CRITICAL DECISIONS have always been informed and guided by a deep consideration of what ’ s best for the health and safety of our membership . After closely evaluating multiple scenarios for an in-person ISPA Conference & Expo in May and an ever-growing list of unknown factors , including travel restrictions , reduced meeting capacity requirements and a vaccine timeline that extended beyond the event dates , the decision was made by the ISPA Board to cancel the 2021 event .

The ISPA Conference & Expo is one of many benefits extended to ISPA members . Even though the ISPA community won ’ t be able to join together in person , members will continue to have access to a wealth of virtual educational events , applicable resources and critical research studies .

ISPA ’ s Conference-related preparations will now shift to the 2022 ISPA Conference & Expo , which will be hosted at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas , Nevada , from May 2-4 , 2022 . Be sure to mark your calendars and register at attendISPA . com , as this will be a spa industry gathering you won ’ t want to miss .

OVER THE PAST YEAR , ISPA ’ s production of educational resources has provided members with a constant flow of support in the form of research reports , virtual webinars and reopening toolkits as many spas experienced closures and braved the reopening process while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation . Despite not being able to gather in person for the second year in a row , ISPA is committed to keeping the spa community connected in innovative ways to help ensure the spa industry thrives as we move forward together through these extraordinary times .

One of the most exciting virtual education opportunities of 2021 for members will be the ISPA Stronger Together Summit . This new event will provide spa professionals with an opportunity to connect with industry peers virtually and hear from renowned speakers like Seth Godin and Seth Mattison . The event will be held from May 10-14 , 2021 and will be hosted fully on the CVENT platform .
