THE 2026 ISPA CONFERENCE’ S DAY TWO Power Session opened with energy as ISPA Chair Kenneth Ryan took the stage to“ Celebration” by Kool & The Gang, reflecting the momentum built during Day One.
Sponsored by BABOR, the session began with thoughtful touches for attendees, including product giveaways at each seat and a video highlighting the company’ s 70-year history in skincare innovation.
Ryan recapped the previous day’ s highlights— from education sessions and a sold-out Expo to the connections that define the ISPA experience.“ The ISPA handshake is a hug,” he said, emphasizing that while the Conference is about learning and business growth,“ it’ s really about community.”
Reinforcing the theme Discover, Ryan pointed to ISPA’ s expanding resources, including new iLearn courses from industry leaders and the Consumer Research Playbook, designed to help members elevate the guest experience. He also encouraged participation in the ISPA Foundation auction, noting that proceeds support ongoing research and innovation.
The session also recognized excellence across the industry with the ISPA Innovate Awards, honoring standout achievements in areas such as spa experience, technology and operations.
The morning concluded with the presentation of the ISPA Alex Szekely Humanitarian Award. Recipient Jay Shetty then took the stage, setting the tone for a keynote focused on mindset, leadership and purpose. n
