Friends gathered to celebrate Susan Wheeler ' s life in August of this year .
SEVERAL OF SUSAN ’ S SPA FRIENDS came together at a lovely memorial service on August 4th . It was a most amazing afternoon , spent listening to the beautiful words shared by Susan ’ s family and friends . Towards the end of service , there was a gentle breeze that came through the open-air tent where we were seated and made the fabric over our heads ripple . I knew , along with those around me , that Susan ’ s spirit was there , joining us in celebrating her life . Another dear friend of Susan ’ s , Kate Mearns , said it best : “ The setting was beautiful , the sky was tranquil and the family was loving and gracious — just like Susan .” �
