1. Longtime ISPA member Repêchage celebrated its
40th birthday in July with a special virtual celebration
featuring internationally acclaimed soprano
Aleksandra Kurzak. Founded by Lydia Sarfati in 1980,
Repêchage has been a fixture in ISPA for its entire 30-
year history and exhibited at its very earliest ISPA
Conference & Expos.

2. The WellSpring Group and Wayland-Smith
Consulting have announced a collaborative
consultancy, The Spa Collective, for the spa and
wellness industry. The consultancy consortium brings
together more than 60 years of spa experience
between The WellSpring Group’s Laura Parsons and
Robert Vance, and Jennifer Wayland-Smith of
Wayland-Smith Consulting. The Spa Collective will
offer management, leadership and development
services. Says Vance: “We realized we’re strong as
individual consultancies, but working as a consortium
we could support our clients and this industry in a
more dynamic way.”
