Additionally , the Hotel ’ s lobby-level meeting and event spaces have been converted into an innovative , wellness-focused event space .

3 . Canyon Ranch ’ s exercise physiologists are now helping guests discover their VO2 max . Also called maximal oxygen uptake , VO2 max is a measure of how much oxygen one ’ s body can consume during its highest level of physical exertion . The more oxygen burned by muscles , the faster and farther a person can bike , run , swim and more . The data collected from a VO2 max test can help make workouts more efficient and beneficial .

Giving Back
● Every year , the Eminence Organic Skin Care team looks forward to cooking and serving organic soup for children and families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon while undergoing treatments at BC Children ’ s Hospital , Vancouver . Due to COVID-19 restrictions , the Eminence team adapted this year to ensure that the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House could still have a nutritious , hot meal by donating 480 servings of locally made soup made with organic ingredients .
