Circadia CEO Michael Q. Pugliese was honored with the Legacy Award in Wellness at the 2025 Beauty Changes Lives Gala. The award recognizes leaders in the beauty and wellness industry who have made transformative contributions through innovation, mentorship, education and philanthropy. Pugliese has been recognized for his initiatives like Circadia University and the Sage Michaela Lucas“ Timing is Everything” Scholarship, supporting the education and well-being of esthetic professionals worldwide.
The newly-formed Chicago Spa Leadership Exchange held its first meeting in June at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. The group has decided to meet once per quarter to discuss industry trends and keep their finger on the pulse of the Chicago spa market. Their next meeting will be held in September at spa the Langham of Chicago, and future plans include a strategy session in January 2026. Those present included Kelly Gaspari-Fleming and Tamas Vago of Waldorf Astoria Chicago, Emily McConnell of The Langham, Chicago, and Cassandra Stratton of Tricoci. n
