VOLUNTEER VOICES AT WORK

Recent conversations across ISPA’ s volunteer groups reflect the priorities, questions and opportunities shaping the spa industry.

THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, ISPA’ s volunteer groups create space for thoughtful conversation, shared learning and candid feedback about the opportunities and challenges shaping today’ s spa industry.
While each group has a distinct focus, all help ISPA stay closely connected to evolving member needs. Their insights can identify emerging trends, strengthen existing programs and guide future services, education and resources.
In recent months, the ISPA Ambassadors, Resource Partner Task Force and ISPA Collaborate Group have discussed topics ranging from workforce development and wellness trends to Conference experiences, guest expectations and the future of industry education.
AMBASSADORS: Listening for emerging needs The ISPA Ambassadors serve as an important listening channel across the broader membership community, helping surface developing priorities, operational challenges and areas where ISPA may provide additional support.
During the first connect of the new volunteer term, Ambassadors identified several areas gaining attention across the industry, including recovery, longevity, mental well-being, group experiences and the continued expansion of wellness beyond traditional spa settings.
The group also discussed reaching younger guests, strengthening local engagement and helping consumers better understand the value of spa and wellness services.
