World Wellness Weekend marks 10th global edition in September
World Wellness Weekend will celebrate its 10th global edition September 18 – 20, bringing together communities, wellness venues and hospitality brands around the world for a weekend dedicated to well-being. Founded by Jean- Guy de Gabriac, the initiative encourages organizations to host free activities that inspire people to move, breathe, connect and recharge.
Held annually across thousands of locations— from New Zealand to Hawaii— the global movement highlights the role spas, wellness centers and local communities play in promoting healthier lifestyles. Activities are designed around five pillars of wellness and aim to make well-being accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Michelle Kelthy named Spa Director of the Year by Marriott
Michelle Kelthy, spa director at The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples, has been recognized as Spa Director of the Year by Marriott International.
Kelthy, who also serves on Marriott’ s Spa Advisory Council, shared that wellness leadership goes far beyond treatments, focusing on how guests feel when they arrive, during their care and when they leave. She credited the teams she has led and collaborated with throughout her career as a key part of the recognition.
The honor highlights Kelthy’ s continued leadership in shaping meaningful wellness experiences and elevating spa operations within the hospitality industry.
